Museum of Kosovo has been operating since 1949, and it is the oldest institution of cultural heritage established with the aim of preserving, restoration-conservation and presentation of movable heritage on the territory of Kosovo.
Established in 2006, the Ethnological Museum is a component part of the Museum of Kosovo. The museum contains ethnological exhibition that shows the life in Kosovo in ethnological aspect from the fifteenth through the twentieth centuries.
Archaeological Museum of Prizren
The Archaeological Museum is housed in a converted hammam built in the 15th century. The museum in overseen by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The Museum of Peja, located in an old town house which belong to the second part of the 18th century, contains over 120 exhibits that illustrate the culture and traditions of Kosovo.
Cultural Artistic Association "Anadrini"
The association organises diverse activities in the field of folklore in Kosovo.
Established in 2008, the foundation supports innovative projects that stimulates the creativity of young people. The foundation also implements activities in the field of arts and crafts.
The foundation Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) is an independent Swedish non-governmental organisation dedicated to rescuing and preserving tangible and intangible cultural heritage affected by conflict, neglect or human and natural disasters. It works in several countries, including Kosovo.
Albanian League of Prizren Museum (Muzeu Lid- hja Shqiptare e Prizrenit)
The League of Prizren Building is part of the Gazi Mehmed Pasha complex, namely the complex of the Albanian League of Prizren. The Complex of the League is an urban/architectural ensemble, strategically located in the old city centre, with special cultural, historical, societal and environmental values.
